Cup Semi-Final

Dear Team and Supporters

Great effort in training yesterday- well done.  First things first- the Cup Semi against Blacon Youth. The game will be played at Hoole Park. Parking will be limited so we advise getting there early and parking along Canadian Ave. KO 1.30pm so please be there for 12.45pm. This will give plenty of time for warm ups and our team talk. We are going out for a win – not extra time and penalties. However we did practise pens in training – remember Jason won’t be in goal this Sunday so it will be a lot harder to score. Make up your mind which side to go, take a deep breath and tuck it away....

We have decided to invite all of the squad along on Sunday. We are really only allowed a squad of 16 but in the past Blacon have been fine with us doing this (last year’s final we did the same) however this will mean there will be some subs that won’t get a game. Whilst this is tough for those who aren’t involved on the day- at least it gives everyone a chance depending upon how the game develops.

We hope you understand our tough decision and will support us on the day. The final will be next- but we don’t count our chickens.
