Pre-season training U14 Jets

Dear Team and supporters,

The 2013/14 Season will soon be upon us.  We have secured a Wednesday evening slot (8.30-9pm) at the new 4g pitch at Christleton High School from September. There will be a small charge to cover pitch hire. In the meantime we plan some pre-season training starting on the 7^th August 7-8pm Christleton High School. Please meet at the sports centre entrance and come in trainers not boots. Definitely bring a drink!!

This coming season is going to be a lot more physically challenging so we would really recommend some additional self-led training starting now. This could involve some gym sessions focusing on cycling, rowing and running. Swimming would also be really good. Some interval training on the school field- otherwise known as lamp posting....running fast for 30-50m then more slowly for a similar distance and continue for about 5 -10-20 cycles. You have to break into a good sweat for it to be worthwhile!

Finally- thanks for getting the registration documents in on time. Hopefully this will all now be sorted for the coming season.
