Pre-season starts for the U14 Jets at 7pm on the 7^th August. We are meeting at Christleton High School next to the new pitch.  Please bring trainers & boots as well as lots to drink.

Pre-season training U14 Jets

Dear Team and supporters,

The 2013/14 Season will soon be upon us.  We have secured a Wednesday evening slot (8.30-9pm) at the new 4g pitch at Christleton High School from September. There will be a small charge to cover pitch hire. In the meantime we plan some pre-season training starting on the 7^th August 7-8pm Christleton High School. Please meet at the sports centre entrance and come in trainers not boots. Definitely bring a drink!!

This coming season is going to be a lot more physically challenging so we would really recommend some additional self-led training starting now. This could involve some gym sessions focusing on cycling, rowing and running. Swimming would also be really good. Some interval training on the school field- otherwise known as lamp posting....running fast for 30-50m then more slowly for a similar distance and continue for about 5 -10-20 cycles. You have to break into a good sweat for it to be worthwhile!

Finally- thanks for getting the registration documents in on time. Hopefully this will all now be sorted for the coming season.

Urgent message to all AFC Waverton Jets players

Dear Team and Supporters,

The deadline for all player registrations has now passed...and I am trying to negotiate a few more days! There are still a number of you who haven’t passed me passport/birth certificate copies. I name and shame but you probably know!

I need the forms and copies of the proof of age with me by Wednesday at the very latest. If they aren’t with me by then I am assuming you do not wish to register for next season.

High School Pitch Opening

Dear Team and Supporters,

We have been invited to be one of only 3 teams involved in the opening of the new 3g pitch facility at Christleton High School on Thursday 4^th July. We will need to be there for 3.45-4pm in order to change into our Club kits. Please come with your kits and a drink. We are not sure when the session (which will be run by Liverpool FC coaches) will end...but we will let you know asap.

Finally...can those of you who haven’t pass your registration forms to us let us have them this Thursday at the very latest.
