After a terrific battling performance against Blacon last week we are home to Groves this Sunday. The game is at Waverton. Kick off at 2pm. Can you please have the boys there for 1.30 and assistance with nets etc always appreciated.

Training will be on at Christleton High School 4g from 8.30pm on Wednesday for 1 hour. Please bring drinks….and £20 pitch subs if you haven’t done so already.

Friendly match V Groves

Dear Team and Supporters

 

Just a note to confirm we have organised a friendly match v Groves this Sunday. The game will be played at their usual home ground The Groves Sports & Social Club, Chester Rd, Ellesmere Port CH66 2NZ.

 

Can you please be there for 1.30 with kick off at 2. 

 

We are hoping to organise one final friendly next week before the league games start on Sunday week away to Blacon.

Training and friendly matches

Dear Team and Supporters,

 

Training will be at Christleton High School 4g pitch from 8.30pm- 9.30pm this Wednesday. Please can you bring £20 (ideally a cheque payable to AFC Waverton) as a first installment to pay for the pitch.

 

On Thursday evening we have arranged a friendly against Princes Villa. The kick off time is 6.15 so please try to be there for 5.50pm onwards. Just need a warm up.

 

The friendly v Princes Villa is at Netherpool Sports Ground (lovely venue!) Details and directions as follows:

 

Netherpool Sports Ground, Ellesmere Port CH66 1TP.

 

Directions / Approach: From either direction on the on the M53 leave the Motorway at Junction 7 sign posted Overpool/Whitby up Netherpool Road take the first exit left at next roundabout, follow the road up to next roundabout, then take immediate left into cul de sac in housing estate, follow road round to left to find ground. 

 

It looks like our first league match will be against Blacon on Sunday 14^th September.
