Really sorry about the number of emails flying around at the moment. Each time I look at the league website it seems to change!
We are currently down to play three games in a week. Thankfully we have a good sized and strong squad and are going to be careful with game time leading into May.
Just for diaries the fixtures are as follows
1. Vicars Cross 6.30pm Thursday (Venue to be confirmed but likely to be Thackery Drive (off Green lane in Vicars Cross)
2. Saughall Colts 2pm Sunday (Barrow)
3. Malpas Tuesday 6th May (Probably Carden Park) time to be confirmed

Thanks everyone for their support for the team today…quite an eventful day I’m sure you will all agree.
There is significant fixture congestion emerging (because of all the wet weather after Christmas) We are going to do our best to manage this to ensure our lads don’t over play going into the Cup Finals….there are lots of them in May!
The next game we have is away against Vicars Cross (1st May) This is on a Thursday evening. Because of this there will be no training this Wednesday evening.
After that we play Saughall at home on Sunday 4th May. Please can you let one of us know asap if you can’t attend one or both of these games. Christy will miss one whether he likes it or not!
The Chester & District Cup Final is now on the 18th May. This may impact of some of the lads doing DoE at Christleton so we will need to ensure that we try to resolve this as soon as we can. If there are problems here can you let us know.
We still haven’t had the date for the Doug Johnson Trophy Final.
Thanks for your help and support today- it’s much appreciated. It’s our intention to have a meeting with the team and supporters after the cup final on the 18th May to talk through how we plan to move things forward next season.

This Sunday we are playing Blacon again in a league fixture. We are still in with a shout for the treble if we can repeat the way we played against them last time. The game will be played in Barrow (pitch markings now completed!) KO 2pm. Please be there for 1.30pm. Help with the nets is really important this week as we are a man down (Robin on his way to Bermuda) we will be doing this from 1.15pm.
Please come in full kit and bring drinks. Please make sure we get lots of supporters out this sunday!

Training is on this Wednesday 8.30pm- 9.30pm. We also have a game this Sunday against Blacon at home. Hopefully we can get the pitch marked this time. Volunteers are needed please.
Robin is leaving for warmer climes on Sunday- we all wish him safe journey and will miss him hugely. Thank you Robin for your help and support over the seasons. We will aim to win a cup for you!!

Just a quick note to thank you all for your support on Sunday and to apologise again for the late change in venue….it did us all right though in the end!
The league requested us to play Blacon again in the league tomorrow- but we have said no because we have too many players missing.
There wont be training this Wednesday so have the week off. We don’t know if there is a game next Sunday but will keep you all posted.
Another week, another Cup Final…..please keep 11th May free as we are back at our spiritual home, the Swansway Stadium KO time to be confirmed.

We are playing Blacon in the semi-final of the Chester & District Cup this coming Sunday. The game will be played at Barrow KO 2pm. Please be there for 1.30pm at the latest. If you can come 10 minutes earlier than this to help us with the nets it would be much appreciated. Please come in full kit and winter training tops. Bring drinks. We are taking a maximum squad of 16 players – if you are only asked to play for a short period we can only apologise- your contribution could change the game….remember we were 2-0 down last time and scored two late goals to take it to pens!!

Training will be on at Christleton High School this Wednesday at 8.30pm….please try to make it as it will be the start of our plot to beat Blacon in the other Semi-Final. We don’t have a game this coming Sunday (6th) but will be playing Blacon on Sunday 13th. Can you please let us know as soon as possible if you aren’t available for this game.
Really good performance last Sunday against a well drilled, organised and strong side. We mixed it up a bit…you kept your fans on the edge of their seats (even though they we mostly standing up) Not sure when the final is but will let you know as soon as we do.
