Training and Cup game

Dear Team and Supporters,

Congratulations to those boys involved in reaching the England Schools Cup Final this week. A really great achievement and it is great that we have so many of you involved with Waverton Jets.

Training will be on tonight at 8.30pm Christleton. Our match Sunday is against Vicars Cross in the Cup. We play them away at Bishops High School KO 2pm. Please keep an eye on texts and the website in case we have to postpone again due to weather. Can those of you unable to play on Sunday please let one of us know.

Unless you want to do 50 press ups I wouldn’t mention the Everton result tonight.

Match postponement

Dear Team and Supporters,

Just to keep you all in the picture. Yesterday I was asked if we would consider resting 6 members of our squad for the Sunday game to ensure that they were fighting fit for the England Schools Cup Semi-Final which is to be played the next day (Monday 27^th) at Christleton High School.  Chester FC and Chester Schoolboys also have games this weekend and both team managers have agreed to rest all Christleton players involved. As a result of this I have requested a postponement.

I will keep everyone informed.

Training and match

Training is on at the usual time this Wednesday. We know some of you are on a school trip to watch some mid table team in Manchester...have fun! Our match this Sunday (26^th) is at home V JFC Boughton. Squad will be announced Friday but please can you let us know as soon as possible if you are unavailable. Last week’s Cup match is now rescheduled for the 2^nd Feb....please keep it free!

Dear all

Three emails from me in a day has to be a record! Just to say those lads involved in the England Schools match in Hull on Wednesday evening need to rest after the game and journey.  We don’t expect to see them at training. Our next game now is not until 19^th January (away) against Groves. Our game on the 12^th against Blacon has been rescheduled because of their cup commitment. Things may change so watch this space!
