This Thursday is our last session on the astro at Upton. Can you all please make sure you look at your emails or the website before venturing out as it is only 50/50 this week because of the weather.
We are then having an Easter holiday and our next training session will be 11th April – venue to be confirmed. Currently (and things have been changing a lot recently) our next fixture is on Sunday 24th April.

The fixtures for over Easter have just been re-jigged to accommodate all of the cup postponements. Unfortunately this has meant that our game on Sunday is postponed and we don’t actually have a fixture listed again until 24th April! This is a long way off so we will see if we can get some of our previously postponed games played. This will clearly be dependent upon other teams availability.
Sorry for any confusion about this weekend....but on paper at least we have a free Easter.

Fantastic performance and result last Sunday. As good as you’ve played all season. Next Sunday we are away against Groves Athletic. We are still awaiting details from their manager so watch this space. Training will be on at the usual time of 5.45pm-6.45pm Upton. Next week will be our last session at Upton. From then on we will be back on the grass at Waverton.
Please make sure you bring drinks with you to training.

On Sunday we are playing JFC Malpas in the Cup away at Carden Park. For those of you who haven’t been there before- google Carden Park Hotel. The pitch is on the right just through the main entrance. Please can you arrive at 1.30 for a 2pm KO. Come in full kit and bring a drink.
It has been another tough week for selection but we are endeavouring to keep everyone involved. The commitment of every member of the squad has been fantastic bearing in mind all of the postponements we have had.

Training will be on at the usual time of 5.45-6.45pm Upton. Please bring a drink. After Easter we will be training on the grass again.
This Sunday will see us in the Cup against JFC Malpas. The game will be played at Carden Park and KO at 2pm. We know this will be a great game to watch- so supporters please come out in force.
Squad will be announced on Friday. Over the weekend please keep a close eye on the website in case we have to postpone due to weather again- hopefully not this time.

This Sunday we are playing Blacon Youth away. The game will kick off at 2pm and be played at Cairns Crescent – this is just on the right before to get to Blacon High School. Please arrive for 1.30pm warm ups. Come in full kit with winter tops and a drink.
We are having to make some tough selection decisions this week and we have based selection around trying to offer as many people a game whilst realising that this particular game will be a challenging one. Please bear with us as we are doing our best to balance these demands. We have plenty of games coming up. We would also encourage you to come to training as we really need the extra time to work with you.

This Sunday we are playing Blacon Youth away. KO 2pm at Cairns Crescent. This is on the right just tucked away in the housing estate before you get to Blacon High School. Its an excellent pitch for playing good football so will suit us. Please be there for 1.30pm with winter training tops and drinks. It’s the kind of big game that everyone wants to be part of. In the past week Blacon High School have been beaten twice by Christleton High....so they are definitely smarting a bit. We have performed brilliantly against Blacon this season- a draw and then going down 5-4 when we had chances to win it.... lets go into this with great confidence but also steely resolve!
