Newton Athletic V Waverton Jets

Dear Team and Supporters,

Training will be on tonight (but please keep an eye on emails in case the frost gets worse) 5.45pm Upton. On Sunday we play Newton Athletic away KO 2pm. They play their home games at Upton High School. This is the same venue as training only the other side of the main road. Parking is available at County Officers Sports Centre. If you are unavailable for selection please let one of us know. Squad will be announced Friday.

AFC Waverton Jets V Malpas

Dear Team and supporters,

Our match against JFC Malpas is at home on Sunday. KO 2pm but can you please be there for 1.30pm at the latest. We will need help with nets etc from 1.15pm if that’s possible. Make sure you bring a drink. Keep an eye on the website if the weather turns very wet over the weekend.

AFC Waverton Jets V Malpas

Dear team and supporters,

This Sunday we are playing Malpas at home KO 2pm. I’m sounding like a scratched record but this is another massive game for us...their coach was asking Simon we got on last Sunday and was rubbing his hands expecting to jump ahead of us in the league this weekend! Let’s not let that happen....!!

JFC Boughton V Waverton Jets

We are facing JFC Boughton again this weekend- another important game to demonstrate we are able to compete consistently at this level. They are really keen to beat us after our close encounter at Barrow.

Training

Dear Team and Supporters,

Great win on Sunday- well done everyone....a genuine team performance from the entire squad. This Sunday will see us away at JFC Boughton. Venue and time to be confirmed still. Make sure you let us know asap if you are not available.

Training at 5.45pm Upton this Thursday. Please come in winter training tops and bring drinks. We are coming to the end of our first 10 week block booking so unfortunately we will need to ask for a further £20 per player to cover the next 10 weeks on the astro turf. Could you let us have a cheque made payable to AFC Waverton either at training or the forthcoming match.

RE: Blacon Youth V AFC Waverton Jets

Dear Team and Supporters,

Really great performances all round last weekend....and we deserved more from the game. We have definitely developed as a team and still have a lot more left to work on. Next weekend we are playing Groves Athletic at home...so back to winning ways!
