It was a fantastic effort last Sunday- Charlotte and her friend (sorry I didn’t get her name) raised £51 towards Sport Relief from their cake and ice cream sales. Really well done girls and thanks to everyone who supported them!
Our performance was less impressive (although we did win!) but we have another opportunity coming up this Sunday to show some improvement.
We will be playing Elton in the Cup on Sunday at Waverton. KO 2pm. More to follow.

We are playing at home this Sunday (Waverton Village Hall) KO 2pm. Please be there for 1.30pm warm ups and if you spare some time a bit earlier to help with the nets. I may also have to mark the pitch out before the game this week so I will be there from 12.30pm.
Robin’s daughter Charlotte is raising money for Sport Relief and will be selling ice-cream at the game- hopefully it will be as warm as today!

Good win on Sunday- well done everyone. Our next game is at home against the Tigers again next Sunday. KO 2pm but can you be there for 1.30pm warm ups. We will also need to put the nets up on the full size pitch.....a bit of a contrast to last weekend....sorry guys!
As part of our pre-season preparation for 2012/13 we plan to compete in some summer tournaments. It would be really helpful if you could let us have your availability for the following dates so we can see if there is sufficient interest for us to enter. The cost will be approximately £5 per player per competition but it may be possible to cover some or all of this through the Club. I think we will aim to enter one or two of these.
Sunday 27th May Blacon Youth Tournament
Saturday 9th June Vauxhall Tournament
Sunday 17th June Hope Farm Tournament
Sunday 15th July Groves Tournament
These tournaments are mostly 7 a side with a squad of 10 allowed to attend. We will aim to get as many people involved as possible if there is sufficient interest.
Could you let us know your availability and interest as soon as possible as they take entries on a first come first served basis.

Dear Team and Supporters,
Training will be at the usual time of 5.45pm this Thursday but can you all check the website before setting out in case of weather cancellation. We have the Upton pitch booked until the 22nd March and we are already in our final 10 week block booking. We have the final instalment of the pitch fees to pay so we will need to ask for £20 per player to cover costs before we get back on the grass to train. It has come around quickly....and some of you will only just have paid the last instalment. Sorry but this is the last time we will be asking!
We can also welcome two new players Tom Fotheringham and Jamil Ahmed to Waverton Jets. These boys have been coming to training and doing well so they are a good addition to the squad.
Our match on Sunday is against Groves Rangers and will be away. More details to follow.
