Dear Team and Supporters,

 

They don’t teach that kind of coaching in the FA manual.....the half time hairdryer treatment and tea cup throwing last Sunday seemed to do the trick....at the break we were wide eyed, down heartened and on the back foot....our arch rivals had stolen a march on us....second half a different team. The real credit goes to the team for not giving in and pulling together brilliantly. We need to bottle up this self-belief and take it with us on the road....our next game is away against Groves Athletic but not this weekend...next. We have a weekend off...

 

Training is however on at the usual time of 5.45pm- 6.45pm (wed)

Rockets V Jets

Dear Team and Supporters,

We have an exciting weekend ahead as we play our local rivals The Rockets at Waverton....a classic 6 pointer.  The KO is at 12.30 so please can you be there for 12 at the latest.

Not seen the weather forecast....but fingers crossed we can play this one.

AFC Waverton Jets V Groves Athletic

Dear Team and Supporters,

 

We will be playing Groves Athletic this coming Sunday. KO 1pm please be there for 12.30pm warm ups. We are at home this weekend. Any help to put the nets up would be really appreciated.

Training and match

We shall be training at 5.45pm tonight (Upton)

On Sunday we are playing the club previous known as Castrol Athletic- now Groves Athletic. The game was originally due to KO at 2pm but due to fixture congestion we may need to bring it forward to 1pm. Apologies for any disruption this may cause. We will confirm the KO time as soon as possible.
