GAME POSTPONED SUNDAY
PLAN B- Sledging!
Dear Team and Supporters,
Training tonight at 5.45pm (Upton). We are now sharing the training pitch with the Waverton U9’s (Carl Roberts’ team) every other week. This will help to cover a proportion of the training pitch fees which will certainly be welcome.
We have just come to the end of our first 10 weeks of training so we need to ask for a second instalment towards pitch fees. Can you all bring £30 (ideally cheques payable to AFC Waverton) tonight or on Sunday. This will now cover more than the next ten weeks (I will confirm details shortly)
On Sunday we have the first round of the prestigious Westminster Cup. We are at home against Saughall Colts (not Clots as I originally spelled it) The game will kick off at 2pm so please be there at 1.30pm at the very latest. Robin and I would certainly appreciate some help with putting the nets up.

Dear Team and Supporters,
This weekend we have a short break in advance of training next Wednesday (5.45pm) and a home tie in the Westminster Cup against Saughall Colts.
Make the best of your well-earned weekend off....breakfast in bed for all supporters perhaps?...well at least a cup of tea.
Simon
Dear Team and Supporters,
Frustrating day yesterday....lovely and sunny but a boggy football pitch. Hope you all got the message before turning up....sorry Nikki!
Training will be on no matter what the weather...5.45pm Wednesday at Upton.
Our match on Sunday is against the league leaders Blacon Youth at home. Kick Off is planned for 1pm so please be there for 12.30pm warm ups. Nets will need to go up so if there is a possibility of some help that would be great.
See you Wednesday
Simon and Robin
Dear Team and Supporters,
This coming Sunday sees us “away” against the Rockets. KO will be 1pm at Waverton so please make sure you are there for 12.30pm warm ups.
It came to light yesterday, after a chance discussion in the boot room with my number 2, that the Jets are the second top scorers in the league this season.....we have played very well these last few weeks and regained a little bit of pride. We need to continue on our winning ways this Sunday and express ourselves the way we know we can. Complacency is not in our vocabulary.....
Please let Robin or I know if you can’t be there.
We shall be playing in pink.
Clean boots
Simon and Robin
