                            Waverton vs Boughton

 

Waverton Jets player Lloyd Roberts some great tackles to hold a Boughton back for 10 minutes.

But in the second quarter Boughton JFC came with a great goal by (anon) so it was 0-1 but wwaverton Jets and some great attacks.

In the third quarter Boughton JFC had a great counter attack and a fine goal by (anon)   and they've made it 0-2.But the jets would not be beaten that easily and a stunning shot from the side by Jack got waverton back in it and its 1-2 after 25 minutes.

And a goal  after 30 minutes surely meant a win for Boughton JFC  so it's 1-3.

It's the finial 10 minuets after 5 minuets jack hammers a shot on the edge of the area to make it 2-3.

1 minute to go  Matthew runs down the pitch he turns and back heels it to Adam who smashes it into the back of the net with the finial kick of the game. 

                                              Finial score 3-3

Christies Match Report

JWaverton Jets vs. JFC BoughtonL

17^th November 2007

It was a stunning game for the Jets they knew it would be hard against the team who had beaten them 8 to 1 last season. They played well and managed to go home with a draw but that's not all. The first goal was from the other team it was a boy called Daniel who kicked it in.  After that William hit the post. Then the other team scored.  The previous scorer on their team scored it, but after that Matthew made a fantastic goal keeper save.  After that our team scored a great goal, our player Jack ran down the pitch and scored .Then the other teams defender had a run down the pitch, our defender was running beside him trying to tackle but he got a little shot and scored .Then Matthew was in Boughton's box, he back heeled it to Adam who scored .Then Jack on our team blasted it and scored.  After that Matthew had two corners and curled them to score but a tall player headed them away. So the score was 3 all.  Good bye.  Next time we're playing Malpas District.

9.45 Start on Saturday

Dear Team and Supporters,

Lee Burke will be assisting us in some pre match training this coming Saturday. Session will start at 9.45 prompt so please make sure you arrive in good time.  Lee will coach for 45mins then set us up for 15 min game at the end.

Chris and Andrew Thompson's have kindly offered the use of their garden (and downstairs toilet) for our long awaited Pre Season Picnic to take place this Saturday after training ( weather permitting ). The intention is for all to bring own picnic, drinks and rug to sit on, and enjoy a game of  rounders or some sort of outdoor game for a bit of family fun.

 

As normal Training will start @ 10.00 at Christleton Primary School with Picnic starting about 11.30ish.

Season Start

Training will re start on Saturday 8th September, 10.00 @ Christleton Primary School.

 

Please ensure that you arive 10mins before start time and equiped with boots and shin pads.

 

For those you have not completed registration form or paid this years subscription can you please bring it with you on the 8th.
